Madame Sourire
Madame Sourire is a caring character who wants to take care of smiles. She is doing a study on smiles and going in search of lost smiles. She has several symbolic metaphorical and practical tools that help her in her research, including one that is very magical. These are these smile stones that she distributes in abundance. This stone that is held against the heart brings a smile from the heart to the lips. These small stones are distributed in groups of 3, one for the person who received it and 2 others to distribute so that the smile spreads. These stones can be distributed for good to people who have lost their smiles or to someone who makes us smile.
Madame Sourire was born in 2008 during a drama therapy workshop with young people as part of a Services Canada skills connection project. Since then, she has worked in conjunction with Écluse des Laurentides and its street workers (who distributed her stones throughout the Laurentians) to take care of smiles in the streets. She often appeared in the activities of the community organization ICI par les arts. Sometimes she appears in public events and activities of women's centers and other community organizations
